Cake Box Cookies - Oatmeal Print Serves: 24 Prep Time: 1 hr Cooking Time: 18 mins 18 mins Nutrition facts: 200 calories 20 grams fat Rating: 5.0/5 ( 1 voted ) Ingredients 1 box cake mix (15oz) 2 cups old-fashioned oats (or use quick oats + 1/4 cup flour) 1/2 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup butter, softened 2 eggs 1/4 cup milk 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup chopped pecans 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg Instructions Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix cake mix, oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg and set aside. Add the sugar, butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla into the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix well. Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and mix well. Place in the freezer for 20 to 30 mins to stiffen the dough.
